I'm Jordan Ellis, Esq.—a Black woman lawyer, a disability rights attorney, and someone who's learned that the hardest cases aren't always argued in a courtroom.

After winning a career-defining case, I accepted a position at one of the country's most prestigious corporate law firms, believing I could help build a workplace where accessibility, diversity, and inclusion were more than polished mission statements. It didn't take long to discover that changing a system from the inside is a lot more complicated than winning a lawsuit.

Along the way, I've collected unexpected allies, a few memorable rivals, more coffee than I'd like to admit, and enough office politics to qualify as a continuing legal education course.
